The customer approached us with an ambitious idea to transform her existing master bedroom and ensuite bathroom into a seamless, open-plan haven. The goal was to harmonize the spaces, creating an airy, modern retreat that maximized both comfort and functionality. This project presented a distinct set of challenges, primarily involving structural modifications and aesthetic integration. Our team needed to carefully plan the layout to maintain privacy while ensuring the new space felt expansive and cohesive. Balancing these elements required innovative design solutions, meticulous planning, and a keen understanding of the customer’s vision for her dream space.
Style
To achieve this balance, we used strategic placement of furniture and dividers to subtly delineate areas. Soft, neutral tones and natural materials were chosen to evoke a calming atmosphere, while large windows and soft lighting amplified the sense of openness and tranquillity. The bathroom area was designed with elegant fixtures and finishes that mirrored the bedroom’s style, ensuring visual continuity. This approach allows the customer to enjoy a harmonious and peaceful retreat tailored perfectly to her lifestyle.
The Product
The selection of high-quality products was key to achieving both the aesthetic and functional goals of the project. The New York Gloss wall tiles played a pivotal role in enhancing the space’s modern elegance. Their reflective surface not only added a touch of sophistication but also helped to bounce light around the room, creating a brighter and more expansive feel. The centrepiece of the bathroom area, the Beno Freestanding Bath, was chosen for its sleek design and luxurious appeal. Its sculptural form became a focal point, offering a spa-like experience right at home. Positioned strategically to maintain the open-plan concept, the bath provided a sense of indulgence without sacrificing the fluidity of the space. Completing the bathroom’s stylish ensemble was the Armstrong Mano Sink. Its minimalist design and clean lines complemented the overall aesthetic, while its practical features supported everyday functionality. The sink’s placement ensured ease of access and use, integrating seamlessly with the room’s layout and enhancing the user experience.
